Our client was facing an extremely risky operation, with the installation of 700 concrete beams (buttons) for a TGV line, above a 4 meter deep excavation. In order to avoid any risk for operators, he consulted us to develop a purely automatic button lifting solution.

Sapem has developed an automatic spreader incorporating safety devices to prevent any accidental opening of the clamps which grip the beams .
