Our client was entrusted with the realization of a large modular construction project in Cuba. 9,000 modules of 50 tons and 40 different types were designed. These modules included many non-authorized areas for lifting points and thin walls, making lifting particularly complex and restrictive.

Sapem has developed an isostatic spreader with known lifting forces distributed at 16 points. Adaptable to all configurations, this spreader allows modules to be kept horizontal during installation and saves considerable time in carrying out the work.

This system allowed very high production rates in the factory and on the construction site, without damaging the modules and with savings in materials, equipment and labor.
