Lifting beam with control of forces at the grip points

5th point rudder.png

The concept of the “5th point” rudder allows, by adding a 5th grip point, to relieve the efforts on the 4 other points. The production is done in a controlled manner, that is to say by controlling, through a double system of pendulums, the value of the force at the 5th point.

This concept is particularly useful for compensating for inaccuracy in the mass of a load to be lifted.
